Marty Jackley Becomes Jones County States Attorney

On August 27th, 2019, Marty Jackley was sworn in to serve as the Jones County States Attorney. Marty previously served as Attorney General and US Attorney for South Dakota, and he is currently a partner at the Gunderson Palmer Law Firm.

Attorney Sara Frankenstein Elected to Board of Directors for Sentinel Federal Credit Union

Sentinel Federal Credit Union of Rapid City, South Dakota has appointed attorney Sara Frankenstein to its board of directors for a three-year term. Sara is the city attorney for three towns and represents a number of charitable organizations, individuals, and businesses in the Black Hills area and beyond.

Attorney Katie Cook Accepted to the 2019 Leadership Rapid City Class

Katie Cook has been accepted into the 2019 Leadership Rapid City class. Leadership Rapid City (LRC), sponsored by the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce, was organized in 1981. Since inception, it has graduated more than 1000 leaders into the Rapid City area. The 12-week program is designed to promote a better understanding of this community, build and enhance leadership skills, and develop a strong network of community leaders.

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Appoints Attorney Sara Frankenstein to a Four-Year Term on the South Dakota Advisory Committee

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights recently appointed Gunderson, Palmer, Nelson & Ashmore attorney Sara Frankenstein to a four-year term on the South Dakota Advisory Committee, which reports to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. She will begin her term on August 13, 2019.
